This brace mounts directly onto the steel shock tower, not the tin inner fender apron. This provides a substantial anchor for the brace and stabilizes the front end. The straight radius rod is strategically mounted to clear both the carburetor and the distributor. MPG Monte Carlo Brace Kit features:
